Navam

Agastya International Foundation

Several studies have proven that the mechanical process of memorising information based on repetition has suppressed creativity in students. This system of learning has been the norm of the Indian education system for several decades. Changing this will require new, innovative and inspiring models of learning to be rapidly and effectively disseminated at scale across the country. At Navam, we want to bring about this change through experiential, hands-on learning.

Navam has been incorporated in 2021 as a Sec 8 Co. It will be working in partnership with Agastya International foundation, a leader in Hands-on science education prgrammes,  geared towards several stakeholders in the education sector,  including schools, colleges and educational organisations, parents and teachers. Their customizable nature, based on the beneficiaries, is a unique characteristic of our programs.

The programs are conceptualised and powered by a collaboration with other Agastya and experts in the educational sector. These experts and prominent names also advise Navam on its board and help Navam envision its plans for future growth.

Agastya International Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Bengaluru, India, with a mission to spark curiosity, nurture creativity and build confidence among economically disadvantaged children and teachers in India.
